Scott Morris (he/him) is an award-winning Hamilton/Toronto-based filmmaker/writer/director/producer who currently works in creating short film content for streaming and festival circuits. His work has been screened at festivals internationally and across different streaming services such as CBC Gem and Amazon Prime Video.

He is focused on getting the best version of a story possible: The script is the essential foundation before anything else. Scott has been a part of a wide spread of projects such as documentaries, narratives, and experimental work. While leading on numerous projects, he also has worked under other producers learning what it takes to be a positive and collaborative leader. 

 

As a leader, his approach is creating a supportive environment. As a follower, he's a sponge of knowledge willing to go the extra mile for others. Currently, his work includes producing music videos for up-and-coming artists as well as commercials for small businesses.

On a personal level, Scott is a screenwriting nerd who is the classic writer in a cafe who loves movies, music, and more writing lol, oh! And the occasional yoga class. He takes his tea with honey and his latte with an extra shot of espresso.
